Hey! I’m Nishant, an incoming junior in Penn’s VIPER program pursuing a dual degree in Physics and Computer Science, and planning to submatriculate in Physics. I really love energy research and astrophysics, especially by how the universe works at its deepest levels. I've been doing research since my first summer at Penn, from photophoretic levitation for space and atmospheric applications, to energy-efficient spintronics at NUS this summer through GRIP, and soon diffusion models for cosmological applications. I enjoy interdisciplinary work that blends theory, computation, and experiments across aerospace, fundamental physics, spacetime, matter, and a large amount of accompanying data! Outside the lab, I’ve TA’d PHYS 0151 and work in science communication with TEDxPenn and SOUP. Excited to connect with everyone!
