Madeline Port

Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm a rising senior in VIPER, born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. I study Materials Science and Engineering in SEAS and Chemistry in the College. This is my third year as a peer advisor! I love going to shows in Philly (orchestra, ballet, musicals, you name it!), shopping, hiking, and trying new restaurants. I am a member of Penn Ballet and the MSE student clubs, and I also TA for some MSE courses. I’m interested in materials characterization research, having worked on a few projects at Penn and also at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory last summer. This summer, I’ll be in Aachen, Germany studying Transmission Electron Microscopy through Penn’s GRIP program! I looking forward to meeting you and can’t wait to welcome you to Penn.
