Catherine Bai

Hi, I’m Catherine! I’m from Houston, TX and am a rising senior in MEAM, minoring in Physics and Music. I’m also in the Accelerated Master's program for MEAM. I work on structures on the Penn Rocketry team, research materials with programmable mechanical properties in the Turner Research Group, TA for some physics labs and design/manufacturing classes, and work in the student machine shop. This summer, I’ll be working on propulsion manufacturing for satellites at Astranis and launching our Penn Rocketry competition rocket in June. For fun, I play music in the Penn Band and Wind Ensemble. I also enjoy lifting and despairing over Philly and Houston sports in my free time. I look forward to meeting y’all!
